Cheryl Burgan for Mantua City Council

Mantua: Where Our Roots Run Deep and Our Future Grows Together
About Cheryl:
My name is Cheryl Burgan and I’m running for Mantua City Council. I’m a wife, mother of five wonderful children, mother-in-law to an amazing daughter-in-law, and a social worker. I’ve lived in Mantua for the past five years and have spent nearly my entire life in Box Elder County. I grew up in Perry, graduated from Box Elder High School, and earned my bachelor’s degree from Utah State University.

Some of my fondest childhood memories are of visiting friends in Mantua and spending time in this beautiful valley. Today, I’m grateful to call Mantua home, where I live with my husband, three of our children, three dogs, and eight chickens. I enjoy gardening, playing musical instruments, and sewing. You’ll often find my family working in the yard, out on the lake, or walking through town.

I’m deeply involved in my community, church, and—above all—my family. I love Mantua, its people, and I’m committed to protecting its small-town values while working to ensure a bright future for all residents.
